Will my child be in therapy forever?
Therapy is an individual experience so each child’s need is different. Some families find just a few sessions helpful, while others attend for longer. It’s up to you and your child's therapist to determine the best option for your family. The idea is for your child (and you!) to make progress and not need therapy. Typically, children stay in therapy for 6 - 24 months, and/or "dip in and out" of therapy, coming for several months, taking a break, and then coming back during a different developmental/family challenge.
